Infographics are just awesome. Have you used them in your classroom? With your students?
Since my students now have access to GAFE accounts, my colleagues and myself have been researching tirelessly to find new tools and apps to use with our students. I have been waiting (somewhat patiently) for my students to be able to access all of the awesomeness (new word?) that is GAFE.
The infographic on this page was made in about 5 minutes using Piktochart, which is a FREE Chrome app! I created this infographic from scratch, but there are TONS of templates to choose from to get started.
Choose images or icons provided to fill your infographic, or upload your own. Select from a variety of different backgrounds, play around with fonts and colors, to present information in a new and engaging format!
Imagine having your students create an infographic to display the results of a survey (you can also choose to include charts and graphs), instead of print off a boring pie chart.
Embed, email, or share your infographic on social media!
I plan to have my students add the Piktochart app through their GAFE account…I can’t wait to use this great tool next year with Chromebooks!
Many schools are creating a 1:1 environment with Chromebooks, iPads, or some other personal electronic device. There are so many different ways to utilize these awesome tools and have our students create amazing products!
Below are some additional resources about using infographics is YOUR classroom. Enjoy!
