As I was perusing Pinterest last night, I stumbled upon a great post from Laura Randazzo’s blog, Solutions for the Secondary Classroom…and I LOVE IT!
We’ve all seen those hilarious, sometimes inappropriate memes on social media, and so have our students.
We love them. Our students love them. Why not use them as attention grabbers to help our students connect with the content or remember classroom rules/procedures!
At imgflip.com, teachers can easily create fun memes with hilarious images to use in class…for free!
Teachers can use this in so many ways, but our students can as well.
Students could use this site to make public service announcements or to summarize important concepts…the possibilities are endless!
The evil plotting raccoon is probably my favorite meme background…and it can be used in to many different ways! I also love the dos equis background, but I’m not keen on including a picture of an alcoholic beverage on an image for my students ๐
I hope your school year is off to a great start!
Thanks for reading ๐
